Adriana Galván at TEDx Youth: Insight into the Teenage Brain
Assistant professor of Psychology, Adriana Galván, is the Director and Principal Investigator of the Developmental Neuroscience Laboratory. Dr. Galván's research focuses on the neurobiology underlying teenage behavior– such as risk-taking, exploration and thrill-seeking. Findings from her research inform policy, juvenile justice and public health issues that affect youth.
Life scientist Lohmueller is honored as Searle Scholar
UCLA life scientist Kirk Lohmueller was named a 2014 Searle Scholar, one of 15 exceptional scientists who has "demonstrated innovative research with the potential for making significant contributions to chemical and biological research over an extended period of time," according to the Searle Scholars Program.
