24 UCLA undergraduate researchers received presentation awards at the 2017 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS), including 8 of UCLA’s MARC scholars.  Altogether, there were 4,400 registered attendees at this year’s ABRCMS– including 2,200 undergraduates, from colleges across the country, who were judged for the presentation of their research. 300 awards were given, and of the 43 presenters from UCLA, well over half (24) came home with awards.

UCLA undergraduates interested in learning about mentorship and research opportunities should visit COMPASS Life Sciences and the Undergraduate Research Center- Sciences.
