ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. (April 14, 2017) – An unarmored threespine stickleback (UTS) swims in new habitat after being released into the wild by a team of biologists and scientists from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. One hundred and fifty-one fish were released following an emergency rescue late last year in response to a fire that threatened their habitat.
