The international data and analytics firm Clarivate named three UCLA Life Sciences professors on their 2024 list of the world’s most Highly Cited Researchers:

Michelle Craske (psychology)

Elaine Hsiao (integrative biology and physiology)

Lawren Sack (ecology and evolutionary biology)

Clarivate’s annual list identifies researchers whose work was most often cited in papers published by other researchers in their fields over the past decade. According to Clarivate, “Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000” and “have demonstrated significant and broad influence in their field(s) of study.”
