Each year, since 1962, a select cohort of instructors from across campus are honored with UCLA’s Distinguished Teaching Award in recognition of demonstrating an exceptional dedication, creativity and excellence in teaching.
Awardees are selected from a highly competitive pool of nominees from across campus.
Four of the 12 faculty to receive this year’s Distinguished Teaching Award are from the Division of Life Sciences.
