Each year, the analytics firm Clarivate releases a list of Highly Cited Researchers, which, according to Clarivate, recognizes “true pioneers in their fields over the last decade, demonstrated by the production of multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in the Web of Science™. Of the world’s scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers truly are one in 1,000.”
On the Highly Cited Researchers List of 2021 are the following UCLA Life Sciences’ faculty members:
- Carrie Bearden, psychology (also psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences)
- Michelle Craske, psychology
- Nathan Kraft, ecology and evolutionary biology
- Matteo Pellegrini, molecular, cell and developmental biology
- Steven Reise, psychology
- Lawren Sack, ecology and evolutionary biology
