Dr. Arjun Deb, a professor in Life Sciences’ Department of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, and a member of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCLA  recently co-led a study that created the first version of COVID-19 in mice, a valuable tool for studying SARS-CoV-2 in a living system.
