Life Sciences Equity Officer, Paul Barber, advises Life Sciences’ Dean, faculty, and students on issues of equity.

UCLA’s Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion aims to create a more fair and inclusive environment on campus, and includes the Discrimination Prevention Office, which investigates reports of discrimination or harassment based on race, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, and other categories protected by law and University policy.

UCLA’s Office of Ombuds Services provides students, faculty, and staff with assistance in resolving conflicts, disputes or complaints on an informal basis.
