The latest edition of UCLA College Magazine, features a profile on Nanibaa’ Garrison, an associate professor in the Institute for Society and Genetics. Garrison is a bioethicist – born and raised on the Navajo Nation – who is doing important work to ensure mutual understanding and equitable outcomes for communities who participate in genetic research.
